Hygromechanical Behavior of Polyamide 6.6: Experiments and Modeling

چکیده
This paper investigates water absorption in polyamide 6.6 and the resulting hygroscopic swelling changes mechanical properties. First, sorption experiments on specimens from injection molded plates are presented. The observed behavior is dependent melt flow direction of molding process. Additionally, thermal analysis tensile tests were performed for different conditioning states. accompanied by a decrease glass transition temperature significant reduction stiffness strength.
